Try to define anything!

Is easy to talk about electrons and galaxies and cells and brains. But before moving any further, please define them! You will soon realize that this is impossible. Only direct experiences are fully known. Red is red, sweet is sweet.

Why do you postulate extra entities ?

Look at the chair in front of you. That is just an image in consciousness. Why do you also postulate an "external objective chair" in addition to the bare experience in consciousness ?

Do you know anything outside consciousness ?

Do you know anything outside consciousness ? What ? 

Be careful not to trick yourself. Try to realize that whatever answer you give, that answer takes place in your consciousness, is a creation of your consciousness. And no matter how hard you try, you cannot escape your consciousness. No matter how smart you might create your answer, it will still be just an idea in your consciousness.

Brain doesn't exist

Probably the greatest obstacle in realizing what consciousness is is the belief that brain generates consciousness. But brain doesn't even exist. "Brain" is just an idea in consciousness.  

It's funny how it works: consciousness imagines an object, called "brain" and then somehow it tries to explain its own origin based on the object that it itself imagines in the first place.

Everything is an idea

No matter how hard you try, you cannot get outside ideas. Even when you think that you got a special case that proves that there are things outside ideas, that is an idea itself.

What do you think is going on ? Is reality just random particles bouncing around ? And we just happen to be ?
